Please print your tickets and present them when boarding. You can board directly with your valid voucher.

Can I buy tickets at the departure point?
Yes. The departure (and arrival) point is next to Museummolen De Walvisch, Westvest 229, Schiedam.

Can I bring my dog on board?
No, dogs are not permitted on board. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Smoking on board
Smoking is not permitted on board any of our boats.

I have international guests. Is the tour available in English, German or French?
The live commentary is provided in Dutch only. However, a free information guide is available in English, German and French. You can request one when boarding.

Can I bring a stroller on board?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
No, unfortunately the boats are not wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring a rollator on board?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.

Is there a power outlet on board?
The Liedewij is equipped with a 220–230V power outlet.

Are life jackets available on board?
No, life jackets are not available on board.
The seat cushions can be used as flotation devices if necessary.

Do the boat tours operate in all weather conditions?
Yes, the boat tours operate in rain. Complimentary rain ponchos are available on board.
For safety reasons, tours are cancelled during thunderstorms.

Private Boat Hire
A private boat can be booked at a time that suits you. If possible, the boat can depart from a location of your choice, depending on suitable mooring facilities. Only plastic cups and glasses are permitted on board.

What is the maximum capacity of each boat?
Aleida: up to 49 passengers
Liedewij: up to 32 passengers on scheduled cruises, or 37 passengers when privately chartered.

When did the first boat tour take place?
