The development around gin over the centuries is amazing. Not only in Schiedam, but elsewhere in the Netherlands. Advertising, glassware, packaging, materials and much more. The museum holds many temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
They are working hard to digitise and record the collection. There is also extensive research being conducted in different archives. A complete picture of the history of gin in the Netherlands is now emerging: with Schiedam front and centre.
