Dive into the world of jenever! See the distillers at work, listen to inspiring stories and taste some traditional jenever. The museum includes yearly changing exhibitions, vintage advertising materials and many more things to see. 

JENEVER MUSEUM DISTILLERY
Did you know that the National Jenevermuseum has its own historic distillery? And the best thing: it is open to the public! Step into the past and discover the centuries-old traditional distillation process to produce Jenever and maltwines. The distillers are happy to explain their ways upon request. 

WINDMILL DE WALVISCH – MUSEUM
Windmill de Walvisch is one of the highest windmills in the world. Learn everything about the job of a miller and the working of a Schiedam distiller windill. Ever since 2018 the windmill became a museum, allowing visitors to enter.

Tuesday – Sunday: open from 11:00-17:00 
Monday: closed 
National holidays: closed

ACCESSIBILITY 
The Jenevermuseum is accessible for the disabled. Windmill de Walvisch is not. Visitors under the age of 18 can only entered on supervision. No animals allowed.
